Baby Girl Gifts

I just got back from a week long trip to Arizona to see my family.  While I was there my family decided to throw me a baby shower.  I really wasn't too keen on the idea...this is my second child and I didn't want people to think that I was just greedy and wanted more presents.  All that I really wanted was to have people that I know and care about show up for food, and to decorate onesies.  We decorated onesies for Stephen and I absolutely loved having him wear them as a reminder of people who know and love us.  This go around I am even making it a goal to take pictures of our little girl in the onesies and then send them to the person who painted it.  We'll see how that goes :)

I received some incredible presents that I know my family would like to see.  I haven't taken a picture of everything yet, and then some of the pictures didn't work out right, I am using a newer laptop than I usually do and I don't have my normal photo editing software on it yet. So after I finish unpacking there will certainly be at least one follow-up to this post.

This first dress was crocheted by my SIL Katrina.  It is soooo cute!  I love it!  I am amazed that she was able to do this!

And here is the back view.

Next up is the second dress that she crocheted.  Here's the top.

And the back, the picture I have of the whole front titled funny so I will have to retake that.

On both dresses there is coordinating ribbon that runs through it and then this one has the most adorable flower buttons down the back.

This dress is from Sister Brewer from the ward I grew up in.  I love the ruffles.

Four of the onesies that were created at the shower.  LOTS more were made, but I need to take pictures of them.

My sister Anjeanette crocheted the embellishments on two onesies and matching socks.  Super cute!

Katrina really spoiled our little girl with TONS of cute clothes!

One of the days that I was in Arizona I hit up Kid to Kid and purchased some clothes I just wanted to share.  I LOVE Kid to Kid!  First up is this dress (with matching bloomers of course).

And this flowered dress, also with matching bloomers.  Too cute!

Next up from Anjeanette is the awesome quilt that she made.  Seriously she is so talented.

She free-hands her quilting on a normal sewing machine, and she always hides things in it.  Here's some hearts.

The thread she used is variegated so it goes from light pink to a dark red, which has a really cool effect.

Then I spent some time making some hair stuffs for my little girl.  These are really thanks to my mom and Grandma who spent the time tracing and cutting out all the felt circles.  Seriously, they deserve tons of thanks!

I saw some hair bows like this on Groop Dealz and I thought they wouldn't be too hard to make.  I was wrong.

The one at the bottom (the blurry one) was my first attempt.  Luckily they got better as I went on.
I feel so blessed for all of the fun things we were given!  I can't wait to play dress-up with this little girl!
