So, let's not talk about how bad today has been. No. Instead let's discuss how adorable my son is. On the way home from my sister-in-laws I didn't want Stephen to sleep or he wouldn't nap at home. So I tickled him, yelled how much I loved him (as opposed to just yelling AT him), and did everything I could to keep him awake. Then I started loudly chanting, "No sleepin' in the truck! No sleepin' in the truck!". To which he replied, "No truckin' in the sleep! No truckin' in the sleep!"
Keep in mind he pronounces his "tr" as an "f".
So it sounded like, "No f*ckin' in the sleep! No f*ckin' in the sleep!"
He thought he was *so funny* for mixing up the words, but little did he know how funny it actually was.
And Dad, no I did not get it on tape.

Hahahaha!!! Love it! Well at least there was one redeeming quality about this awful day for you. Sorry about your last several days!
what a great story to tell when he gets older!
So, I'm around a bunch of sleeping kids as I read this and actually belted out a good laugh when hear what he was chanting in the car. TOOOOOOO FUNNY!!! Yes, let us focus on the cute moments in the day. I love people with positive outlooks! You make me try harder to do so!
Love moments like that! Especially on good for nothing days. hugs
Love when they accidentally mess up words. Sorry about the no good days.
I'm cracking up over here. Bring this baby to me... now. I will give him LOTS of candy. I don't truck around, Erika.
